Return and Refund Policy – Rubiq Roastery

Thank you for shopping with Rubiq Roastery. We take great pride in roasting and delivering fresh, high-quality specialty coffee. Below you will find our return and refund policy in accordance with Romanian and EU consumer protection regulations.

🔁 Return Eligibility

Due to the perishable nature of roasted coffee, we do not accept returns or exchanges on opened or used coffee bags.

Unopened items may be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The product is unopened, unused, and in its original sealed packaging
  • Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is provided
  • The item is returned in re-saleable condition

To start a return, please contact us at hello@rubiq.coffee. Items returned without prior contact and approval will not be accepted.

⚠️ Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your order is:

  • Damaged during shipping
  • Contains incorrect items
  • Missing products

Contact us within 48 hours at hello@rubiq.coffee with photos and your order number so we can evaluate the issue and find a resolution.

🚫 Non-returnable Items

We cannot accept returns or refunds for the following:

  • Opened or used coffee bags
  • Customized or limited-edition products
  • Gift cards
  • Sale or discounted items
  • Products returned after the 14-day period

🔄 Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to receive a different product, please place a new order after your return (if applicable) is approved.

🇪🇺 EU Cooling-off Period

If your order is shipped to an EU member state, you are entitled under EU law to a 14-day right of withdrawal, during which you can cancel the purchase without giving any reason.

However, this right does not apply to perishable goods, including roasted coffee, once the packaging is opened.

💳 Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Please note that your bank or credit card provider may require additional time to process and post the refund.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return and you have not received your refund, please contact us at hello@rubiq.coffee.

Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to a shipping error or product defect.
